just thinking about how when i was young, i would hang out with friends or read books or watch a movie or draw/paint... now people are tagging photos, friend requesting, defriending, updating interests, twittering everything they're about to do before they do it, reading about what other people are doing at this moment, googling themselves and people they know, reading celebrity gossip, blogging about revolutions, filling out myspace bulletin surveys, watching youtube snippets about animals or asians or people getting hurt, going through events they are probably not going to go to, e-stalking, etc.

i'm guilty of some of those things and i want to stop. i want my real life back.
